  • Thank you so much for the generous support I received from the CSIA Ontario Scholarship. I am happy to share that I successfully passed my Level 2 certification this season, and the scholarship funding was a tremendous help in covering the course fees and travel expenses. It made a big difference in allowing me to focus on training and achieving important milestones in my instructing journey.

  • Thanks to the CSIA Ontario scholarship, I was able to fully focus on my training and successfully achieve my Level 3 certification this past season! The funding alleviated financial pressures, allowing me to invest in critical resources like additional coaching hours, and exam fees. Beyond the technical skills, the scholarship reaffirmed my confidence and commitment to pursuing excellence in skiing and instruction.

  • A huge thanks to CSIA Ontario for the generous support of the Level 4 Scholarship. As a recipient of a scholarship, I was able to participate in two key development opportunities this past season: the L4 Skier Development Module in January and the L4 Teacher Development Module.

  • I’d like to thank CSIA Ontario for the scholarship I was awarded with last season, it definitely helped a great deal to get me closer to my goal of achieving my full level 4 certification.

  • Thank you so much for providing me the Ontario CSIA Scholarship the past season. The scholarship really helped me a lot in achieving my Level 2 Ski Instructor Certification. The support and aid made it possible for me to pursue more advanced training and development, and I’m very grateful for that opportunity, as the course taken was very expensive.

  • I’m deeply appreciative to be awarded the CSIA Ontario bursary. It allowed me to elevate my preparation for the Level 3 exam as well as pay for the exam itself.  The bursary meant I could add 2 more Pro Days to my schedule. This afforded me more mileage on snow with upper-level instructors and expanded the terrain I could train on. The bursary process is also a great exercise as well. Describing how you plan to accomplish your goals and how you would apply the bursary to your situation is a great way to build intention with your actions on the journey to your next level. I recommend anyone in the hunt for their next level apply!

  • I am so incredibly thankful for CSIA Ontario and their generous support as I continue my journey to achieving my Level 3. This scholarship came at a time when I was unsure how involved I would be with the ski community. I moved away from home for school and was 2.5 hours away from the closest ski hill. I knew I wanted to keep teaching in my life, but with new obstacles, it felt like my level 3 would be on hold for the foreseeable future. I never could have imagined that I would be on snow 3 days a week and attending various Pro Days! Although my exam was cancelled due to inclement weather, I received invaluable training, specific to the level 3 ski, that I would not have otherwise been able to participate in.
