As per the By-Laws of CSIA Ontario Inc., notice is hereby given that this Annual General Meeting will be held in person Friday June 20, 2025 @ 18:00 EDT.

Registration desk opens at 17:00 EDT June 20, 2025

Any questions by members relating to matters at the Annual General Meeting are required to be submitted to secretary@csiaontario.com, no later than 48 hours prior to the time of the meeting.

three (3) Year Term as a New Director

Kate is a law student at the University of Windsor. She has been involved in the ski industry since 2014 and is currently working toward completing her Level III ski certification.

Kate actively contributes to the development of young athletes through her coaching role in the House League race program at Lakeridge Ski Resort and her mentorship of Instructors-in-Training at Dagmar Ski Resort.

She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport, aiming to inspire the next generation of ski instructors.

Three (3) Year Term as a New Director

Diana retired in October 2018 as CEO of the YMCA of Brockville and Area after a 40+ year career working with numerous YMCAs in Canada.  Diana then returned to her love of teaching skiing, re-certified her L1 and L2 and currently teaches at MSLM. 

Diana has acted as a member of the CSIA Ontario Governance Committee since 2021 and has chaired the committee for the past two years.  Further, she volunteers with Imagine Canada and with the Canadian YMCA Alumni.  Board experience includes The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Etobicoke Yacht Club, and the Board of the YMCA of Akron Ohio.

Diana spends her summers sailing, cycling and hiking and her winters Nordic and Alpine skiing.

mingBo ji

three (3) Year Term as a new director

Mingbo is a CSIA Level 3 instructor and dedicated volunteer with the Ottawa Chinese Ski Club where he helps organize member events and fosters a supportive environment for instructors.

Passionate about building community and promoting excellence in teaching, Mingbo strongly believes in CSIA Ontario’s mission to support instructors and elevate the standard of ski instruction. As a new member of the CSIA Ontario Board, he would be excited to contribute to meaningful initiatives and collaborate with fellow board members to strengthen connections across the province and build a more inclusive and dynamic skiing community.

Rob Forbes

three (3) Year Term as a New Director

Rob is a CPA with a background in healthcare accounting and has been a dedicated ski instructor at Mount St. Louis Moonstone (MSLN) for the past five years. He is passionate about skiing and finds great joy in introducing beginners to the sport and helping others improve their skills. Rob, his wife and son reside in Dundas, Ontario.

As a member of the CSIA Ontario board, Rob is able to merge his professional expertise with his personal passion for skiing and instructing.

Steven Green

2nd three (3) Year Term

Steven is an MBA professional with extensive experience in business management, Board governance, and strategic leadership. Proven success in driving strategy, scaling businesses, and leading complex projects. With a background in both the public and private sectors, Steven holds an MBA in Health Management, a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration, and a Project Management Professional Certification.

Steven is the co-owner/CFO of a travelling ski club. He also holds Board Executive positions as Vice Chairperson of a six-hospital corporation with a $280 million budget and is the Chair of the hospital Board Governance Committee.

Steven is presently the Secretary, and past Chair, of CSIA ON.

Michael Harrison

2nd three (3) Year Term

Michael Harrison is a multifaceted professional with a passion for skiing and over 15 years of experience as an instructor at Blue Mountain. His dedication to the sport is evident through his roles as a L2 CSIA certified instructor and EL Race coach at Jozo’s Ski School.

With a background in the promotional products industry spanning three decades, Michael has successfully balanced his career with his love for skiing. His commitment to teaching and coaching has not only enhanced his students’ skills on the slopes but also inspired a new generation of skiers.

Beyond his professional achievements, Michael is deeply involved in the skiing community at Blue, known for his enthusiastic approach to teaching and coaching. He combines technical expertise with a passion for sharing the joy of skiing with others, making a lasting impact on his students and colleagues alike.

Outside of skiing, Michael enjoys exploring the natural beauty of Collingwood and engaging in outdoor activities that complement his adventurous spirit.
